All of our accommodation is offered on a first-come-first-served basis, so we encourage early applications to secure your preferred accommodation. Our team is always on hand to discuss your needs and help you to choose the right flat.
Transparent pricing
At TJT Students, we offer a transparent pricing structure that includes all of your utility bills and Wi-Fi, protecting you from unexpected costs and helping you to maximise your budget. Our student flats are offered fully furnished, neutrally decorated, clean and free from defects, meaning you can move straight in and start enjoying your time in Liverpool.
Each flat is equipped with a bed, a desk with a swivel chair, a chest of drawers, a wardrobe and a bedside cabinet as well as plenty of power points. Our Camden Street flats have en-suite bathrooms, while Derby Buildings and Lime Court offer communal bathroom facilities. Each flat has a shared kitchen and communal areas in which students can relax, socialise and get to know each other better.
Tenancy durations
Tenancies typically last for 44 weeks, starting in September and ending the following July. Students may remain in their accommodation over the holiday periods if they wish. Non-standard tenancies are occasionally available with either shorter or longer durations, though enquiries for these must be made on a case-by-case basis.
We recognise that international students and those undertaking post-graduate study may need accommodation outside of the usual tenancy period and we will do our best to support you if this is the case. Please talk to a member of our team to discuss your options.
Camden Street Student Accommodation
The Camden Street flats are situated in the heart of Liverpool city centre and close to Liverpool Lime Street train station. They are the perfect base for students wishing to immerse themselves in Liverpool's culture and to enjoy its bustling nightlife. Liverpool John Moores University is only a ten minute walk away, while the University of Liverpool and the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts are walkable in less than 20 minutes.
Derby Buildings Student Accommodation
Derby Buildings is a 20 minute bus journey from the city centre and a five minute bus ride from the University of Liverpool. Based in Edge Hill on the outskirts of the city, Derby Buildings is a peaceful community that allows students to focus on their studies and enjoy city life in moderation.
Lime Court Student Accommodation
Lime Court is located just outside the city centre, a mere 10 minute walk to the Liverpool One Shopping Centre and Liverpool John Moores University. It is not much further to the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, and even the University of Liverpool is only a 20 minute walk away. Lime Court offers students easy access to the bars, pubs and clubs of the city while being just far enough away to be considered a peaceful haven.
Security and maintenance
Despite their affordable rental prices, all of our cheap student flats are secure, safe and well maintained. We have CCTV at all of our properties for your peace of mind, and should any maintenance issues arise, we have a caretaker on call who will respond quickly to any issues, providing a professional resolution as promptly as possible.

Whether you prefer your own space or enjoy being surrounded by people, we can help you find the perfect flat. There is a self-contained studio flat available within Lime Court, which offers total privacy and independent living, while the Camden Street en-suite flats provide a nice blend of personal space with the option to socialise.
Derby Buildings and Lime Court also offer a communal atmosphere, with shared kitchen, bathroom and living spaces encouraging students to mingle, share stories and build lasting friendships. We encourage students to express their preferences on their reservation forms, including specifying the names of any people in particular that they would like to be housed with.
As well as specifying named individuals, students can articulate demographic preferences on their reservation forms, for example, if you want to live only with people of the same age or gender or people who are attending the same university, stating this on the reservation form increases the likelihood of achieving this goal.
Viewing our Student Accommodation
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide in-person viewings as all of the accommodation is in use by current students, and we respect their privacy, but we will gladly provide a video viewing of any flats you are interested in. Additionally, our experienced team can help narrow down your search parameters based on where you will be studying, how close you wish to be to the campus and the city centre, your preferred mode of transport and your personal needs and desires.
How we allocate flats
We allocate student flats on a first-come-first-served basis, so we encourage interested students to get in touch now to discuss your preferences for the 2026/27 academic year, particularly if you have accessibility requirements that may limit which properties are suitable. For example, if you have mobility difficulties, we will strive to offer you a ground floor flat or a flat in a property with a lift.
We always aim to allocate rooms in accordance with your stated preferences, but when demand outstrips availability, this is not always possible. Our team will always try to achieve a suitable resolution where you are unhappy with your allocation, so please talk to us in the first instance if you have any concerns or feel that your allocated flat is likely to be unsuitable, and we will do everything in our power to help you.
Securing your chosen property
Securing your chosen property is quick and easy. Fill in the online reservation form on our website, making sure to include details of any individuals you wish to share accommodation with, and await our confirmation. We will let you know whether you need to pay a deposit to secure your room and when subsequent payments are due.
If you have a guarantor, please provide their details on your reservation form and be aware that we will need to confirm with them that they understand and accept their responsibility before we can secure your booking.
We will need to see proof of identification and evidence that you have been accepted to study a full time course at a Liverpool university before we can reserve your room, so please have all necessary documents to hand when you begin your application.
